Join FRIENDS OF THE BALTICS for a very special celebration of Peace Corps’ 50th Anniversary Thursday, September 22, 2011, 6pm at the Embassy of Lithuania.
His Excellency Ambassador Žygimantas Pavilionis will provide Welcome Remarks.
Enjoy a festive reception featuring all the flavors of the Baltics! Savor traditional Baltic fare as well as Lithuanian beers! Entertainment will be presented by Estonian folk dancers Pillerkaar, Latvian singers Sudrabavots, and Lithuanian dancers Jore! There will also be a surprise musical guest to help us recall special times in the Baltics.
Plus, visit our silent auction featuring treasures from the Baltics and beyond.
Tickets: $30 per person in advance. $40 at the door. A special rate of Two for $50 in advance. Make checks payable to FRIENDS OF THE BALTICS. Checks must be received by September 19th. Kids 12 and under FREE! Business / cocktail attire or traditional / country-of-service dress.

Friends of the Baltics is the Peace Corps alumni group for the 500+ Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who served in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania 1991-2001. Anyone with an interest in the Baltics is welcome to join us, especially in our fundraising efforts to benefit non-profit organizations in the Baltic States.
Friends of the Baltics is a non-profit 501(c)3 and an affiliate member of the National Peace Corps Association.
